Coffee Chronicles | Augies Coffee

I'm on a mission to visit as many cute coffee shops in Southern California as possible. First up is Augies Coffee Roasters in Temecula. Augies is located at a historical site dating back to 1867! The building that it is in is an adobe that happens to be the oldest standing building in Temecula.

They have a small but standard menu of coffee, espresso, and tea. They have a couple stand out flavors for their lattes, including lavender vanilla and honey cinnamon. The workers are all super friendly, which really can make or break any establishment.

I opted to try the lavender vanilla latte. Honestly, I'm a sucker for anything that contains lavender so there was little chance of me trying anything else. This was definitely one of the best lattes that I've had. The espresso was smooth and the flavoring was sweet but not overpowering. Added points for nice latte art! They also have a selection of pastries, including vegan and gluten-free options. I tried a vegan and gluten-free maple donut that was very good.

Overall, if you find yourself near one of their 4 locations in Southern California, I'd recommend checking it out.
